The modem has an Intel Puma 7 chipset, which is known to cause all sorts of problems. I would recommend getting the E31T2v1 or a 2.5GBe modem from Spectrum, that is not the N model. Or buying your own will work too, as long as it is not a Intel Puma modem. Netgear CM1100 from Costco is pretty good.
