Oct 2, 2013 · Power Sliding Doors Intermittent Failure Mode. We park our 2013 in our garage. Occasionally, and only in the morning, the sliding door will not respond to the key fob. As a matter of fact, the power opener does not respond to a handle pull or the open button on the driver's dash panel. The actuation will also refuse to close with the door switch. But a reset should have taken care of that. You can try turning off the power sliding door switch at the driver seat, then opening the door manually all the way. Then turn it back on and try to close it using the button. If that doesn't work, close it by hand and try to open it with the button again. It might work.24 posts · Joined 2003. #7 · Dec 17, 2005.
