Hyundai sonata 2011 wont start

I lost the I-think-I-can-make-it game and ran out of gas Sunday morning. After getting about a third of a tank of gas into it, my Sonata won't start. It started 4 times randomly, and the rest of the time it just tried to catch and wont. Battery is fine. I can hear the fuel pump working when I turn the car on.
